Yoga for beginners
Learn the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga in this one hour and fifteen minute class. Participants receive personal attention, clear demonstrations and basic explanations that guide students through deep breathing and alignment. This is a great place to begin if you have never practiced yoga.
Basics
Refining the fundamentals and utilizing deeper variations in the asanas, this class allows students to develop their continuing practice. Begin here if you have done yoga before or are new to yoga. Our teachers actively assist you with special instruction and modifications tailored to your flexibility and strength.
Vinyasa Flow
This invigorating styles of yoga, purifies and strengthens with challenging poses. Vinyasa Yoga, which involves moving from one posture to the next, in a specific sequence while breathing deeply, creates an internal heat that detoxifies, energizes, and increases flexibility. Charged with creative instruction, music, and yogic philosophy, these classes are designed for the intermediate student. However, this practice can be modified if you are new to the style.
Intermediate/Advanced Hatha Yoga
Designed for students who would like to expand their knowledge of yoga and utilize its foundations to deepen their own inner experience, these classes offer deeper variations of the asanas, a dynamic vinyasa sequence, and additional yogic practices are incorporated, includin: pranayama(breathing), svadhyaya, (self-study) dharana, (focusing techniques), and dhayana(meditation). We encourage students who have been practicing yoga for at least six months to attend this class. You may also attend with permission from the instructor.
Kids Yoga Series
This class allows kids a unique way to express their creative power and energy! Children, ages 5 and up, are taugh Hatha Yoga through exploration and play. A four class series is offered through pre-registration.
